We’re here to help you adjust to life with your vision changes or loss.
We understand that vision changes can be emotionally and physically challenging. Our team of caring professionals is ready to help you navigate these changes.
They will become an extension of your vision care, along with your general optometrist and/or ophthalmologist. We can help when corrective lenses, surgery, or treatments are not enough or are no longer effective. Our goal is to help you with the transition so you can maintain independence.

Low Vision Services
If you’re experiencing significant vision loss that can’t be corrected or improved with glasses, contacts, or surgery alone, we can help using specialized devices and tailored care.
Vision Therapy Services
Delivered one-on-one with an experienced vision therapist and performed under a doctor’s supervision and evaluation. Our vision therapy practice devotes a large amount of space, equipment and continuing education to deliver a full scope of treatment. Our goal is to help you achieve clear, comfortable binocular vision.
Neuro-Optometry Services
When the brain and the eyes are NOT communicating properly, it can cause double vision, eye-tracking issues, difficulty in interpreting your surroundings, eye fatigue, headaches or visual field loss, and a host of other symptoms.
Orientation & Mobility
For people with vision loss, orientation and mobility (O+M) is a critical skill to help maintain independence and go through life doing the activities you want and need to do. It’s about maneuvering through each day with confidence.
Adaptive Technology
We know learning new skills and technologies can be difficult for anyone. Our helpful, experienced team can guide you on your journey, assisting with the exploration and learning of desktop platforms, software, smart phones, apps, and other adaptive technology to satisfy your needs whether it’s for home or work.
Activities of Daily Living
When you start losing your sight, typical daily tasks can become much more difficult. Alphapointe can work with you to learn techniques that make it easier for you to manage your world.
Braille Reading & Writing
Braille is a direct means of accessing information – and independence – for people with vision loss. It allows people to read and write, gain educational opportunities, access more job opportunities, handle daily activities more easily, and use general information required to live and work in the modern world.
